I'm still here

It's been so long since i posted here that i'd completely forgotten how to go about it. But i thought i'd better show my face so to speak or i could end up losing my account and that would never do.

I've heard a lot about importing your LJ here so that you can cross post your entries, but i have no idea how to go about it. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

DW is logging me out as often as LJ. *grumble, gripe* I hope this works...

I don't think they will delete your account due to inactivity here but it's always a good idea to post an update every once in a while to be sure it stays active.

Glad to see you were given excellent instructions as to how to import your LJ journal here. It usually works perfectly though you might see some odd duplicates if a commenter has both a DW and LJ account. Don't worry about it if you see that. It's a really nice way to have a backup of your journal.

Did you ever get any snow? We have rainrainrain. :D It's supposed to rain all week and it's turned colder here. Well, it's more natural than the weird hot snap we had this past weekend. Very odd weather indeed. :)

I still haven't got around to backing up my LJ here. I never seem to have enough time, but i'll do it soon. I've had some excellent advice that looks easy enough to follow. Have you backed up yours?

Yes we got snow. Just a few inches Sunday night and last night.. nothing today. The main roads have cleared but the temps have dropped now and all the left over snow has frozen. I wouldn't worry but i'm on day shift this week which is a 6am start. I don't have a car but i still get nervous when the roads are icy. And... MORE snow is forecast for Thursday/Friday! Not a welcome prospect!

Yes, I back up my journal here at least once a month.

Oh, I hate it when snow turns into ice. :( It can be very hazardous so I understand your worry even if you aren't the one driving. Stay safe, sweetie.

Rumor has it that we're to have snow flurries Thursday. Eeeek! :)
